DON'T make this product your only source of Vitamin C since 20 drinks/day (1/2 bottle) can be fatal to an adult! If you plan taking over two rounded teaspoons per day, please consult your doctor, especially if you have kidney problems.
Vitamin C, also known as ascorbic acid, is a water-soluble vitamin. Unlike most mammals, humans do not have the ability to make their own Vitamin C. Therefore, it must be obtained through our diet.
Mineral salts of ascorbic acid (mineral ascorbates) are buffered, and therefore, less acidic. Thus, mineral ascorbates are often recommended to people who experience gastrointestinal problems (abdominal pain or diarrhea) with plain ascorbic acid.
WARNING! Potassium Ascorbate is tasty as well as deadly - so keep it away from the kids and the unthinking! Remember Murphy's law: If it CAN happen, it WILL! Potassium Ascorbate is very humidity sensitive.

effervescent with just a mild taste. Great source of extra potassium without the stomach upset associated with many potassium supplements. Makes a great addition to my post workout drink.

Good way to get extra potassium with your Vitamin C
Obvious from all the raves about C-Salts, it is a great product. This Potassium one gets overlooked, yet to me, it's even better, because it has all the benefits of the C-Salts, plus some extra potassium. We need quite a high daily dose of potassium (around 4 grams minimum), so this helps fill that quota for me, because as much as I like bananas, you won't always be able to eat a couple every day. Just as easy to mix and take as C-Salts, so I usually have one serving of that, and one of the Potassium Ascorbate daily.
